IHP recently sent out a questionnaire requesting all members to update their details. All of the participants were entered into a draw with a chance to win a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine, kindly sponsored by Office Depot.
The lucky winners of the draw were Calthorpe Clinic. Calthorpe, based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, is a family planning and sexual health clinic. When asked how they felt about winning they commented, "We were totally shocked, you never know if these things are genuine!"
Calthorpe is representative of the growing diversity of the IHP Member base across the private healthcare sector, including hospices, hospitals, care homes, oncology clinics and integrated medicine clinics amongst others. As IHP's membership base continues to grow, IHP is securing increased purchasing power enabling your organisations to make increased savings. By reducing procurement costs, organisations can reinvest resources in front-line services, providing excellent care standards and enhancing individuals' quality of life.
Calthorpe summarised their experience: "We use IHP for uniforms, stationery and printing and building supplies and are just about to use a contract with BBraun for sterilisation of our instruments. Following these cost savings, we are moving onto agreements with lots of other suppliers. IHP has improved our business by giving us access to cheaper goods and services with far greater buying power. We have recommended IHP to other healthcare organisations".
