  • St Joseph's Hospice upgrades using IHP

    St Joseph’s Hospice, based in Thornton, on the outskirts of Liverpool, was established by Father Francis O’Leary in 1974. It provides quality, end of life care for 25 terminally ill patients from the surrounding area, regardless of their faith. St Joseph’s, otherwise known as Jospice, prides itself on the quality of its nursing care, and the support it gives to families during these difficult times.

  • IHP raises over 2000 pounds for Jospice!

    After a number of delays due to the ash clouds earlier this year and simply bad British weather, on the 12th September IHP staff finally took to the sky for a 14,000ft sponsored parachute jump.

    A number of brave members of the IHP team completed 14,000 ft freefall parachute jump that rose over £2000 for IHP Member St Joseph's Hospice.

  • IHP's first Knowledge Day is a success!

    IHP welcomed over 30 delegates at the IHP Dementia Knowledge Day which took place at LOROS Hospice, Leicester on 14th July.


    The event provided delegates with an invaluable opportunity to meet a number of the IHP nominated suppliers in person across catering, business services, property and maintenance and medical agreement areas, to find out how their organisation could make substantial savings.

  • Impressive energy savings for The Rowans Hospice.

    IHP recently invited non-energy trading Members the opportunity to make similar savings with Saturn Energy, simply by supplying the IHP team with details of their current energy supply.  In return IHP promised to contact Members to discuss the potential savings and enter all respondents in to a prize draw to win £250 worth of vouchers of their choice.


    Congratulations to Jenny Redman, Quality Manager at The Rowans Hospice who won £250 worth of vouchers. Jenny got in touch with IHP to say thank you, and that they will be spending the money towards looking for furniture items suitable for a children's play area within the hospice and also looking at a rebuild for our reception area where new furnishings will be required.
