Why did you join IHP?

Tell us about a recent project that IHP has helped you with.

I recently required nine Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) cabinets. IHP purchased the cabinets cheaper than I could and arranged delivery. The cabinets arrived within two days of order.

Do you find using IHP cost effective in terms of time and effort? How?

Yes, in relation to the COSHH cabinets, I found the ones I required, emailed IHP and I received a response within the day with the exact requirements and savings. This saved me time trailing through many different catalogues and telephoning for prices.

What are the most useful elements of IHP's dedicated client service?

We are always able to get a quick response on any request we make.

How will your patients benefit from the savings you make?

As a charity it is not just our patients who benefit but all the people of Tameside and Glossop - patients, relatives, staff and volunteers.

How has central billing helped to streamline your purchasing?

We make a one off direct debit payment to central billing and do not have to make cheque payments as we do to other suppliers.

What would you say to other healthcare providers that are considering becoming a member of IHP?

Make full use of the service and benefits that can be gained not only from cash savings, but from staff time.
